"The tour was very enjoyable in the Latin Quarter, and the guide was both professional and friendly with the guests, which made the experience even better. The best way to discover Paris."

Aïsha was the best tour guide, especially because she grew up in Montmartre so she knew all the best places to stop by. Even though I’ve been to Paris many times, and am familiar with quite a few patisseries and chocolatiers, she showed me and my daughter delicious, memorable, new places to try. Aïsha provided great context and history of the neighborhood and pointed out great spots like the wall of love and the smallest crepe stand in Paris! She was personable and provided a great experience for my daughter, who is 11 and visiting Paris for the first time. We can’t wait to come back to the places she introduced us to like Aux Merveilleux de Fred.

The tour was absolutely wonderful. It truely did feel like a local experience. The food tasting and the fun little facts that our guide shared and there were my favorite part. The chocolate walking tour was also sooo pretty.

Aicha our guide was amazing. She had an excellent attitude, very cheerful happy to see all of us, and an overall great attitude ans took us around, explain the history of this beautiful Paris neighborhood, and each of the pastry and chocolate shops that we visited. She made an effort to make sure to speak to everybody made us all comfortable and overall it’s a trip that I would plan to do again well worth the money we’ve already told people to look into it.

The Insider’s Guide to Food & Culture

In 1793, as revolution shook France, a young woman in Paris smuggled secrets and not in letters, but in loaves of bread. Across history, food has been more than just sustenance; it has been rebellion, identity, and power.

From the whispered legends of Montmartre’s wine-making past to the secret origins of the croissant, every dish has a story waiting to be told. Here, we uncover the echoes of history in the meals we savor, exploring the deep connections between food, culture, and the people who keep traditions alive.
